The Office of Innovation & Strategic Partnership (OISP) is a full-service office dedicated to stimulating innovation and entrepreneurship among faculty, staff and students at UT San Antonio. We provide the following for your innovation; intellectual property protection, strategic partnering agreements to propel research, license negotiation execution surrounding your intellectual property, internal funding to risk mitigate, access to our own accelerator to aid in development, resources and advice to start your own company.

OISP commercialization activities are active in all areas focusing on diabetes, kidney disease, pain (inflammatory and neuropathic with a focus on non-opiod, non-addictive analgesia), cancer (particular expertise in breast/prostrate), aging (and disease), neurodegenerative disorders (Parkinson’s, Alzheimer’s) and regeneration.

Partner early and often, interested entities involved as early as all groups are comfortable.
